If you live near Inspiration drive and Tomahawk road you should take a sample of your well water at the spicket or "hydrant" that is located near your well. Our well water has turned a light shade of brown. We believe that the oil companies are doing seismic vibration tests in the area but we have not seen the trucks ourselves. On either Monday 10/7, or Tuesday 10/8 2013 we heard a series of rythmic low pitched booms but could not tell from which direction they were coming. Having heard such noises earlier this spring and then having all my sprinkler heads plugged up with sand within a few days, I decided to pull some water from my hydrant and found murky water from a previously crystal clear well. Hi Frank;

       Haven't noticed anything (at least in the house.  My whole house filter isn't needing to be changed more often than usual.)  I haven't checked at any external spigot though.
