Question for all the neighbors, as you enter the neighborhood at the signs right off North Oak, has anyone else noticed the speed of the traffic flow coming into our neighborhood?
How about using some of the dues from owner fees to pay for a couple of speed bumps to let traffic know to slow down as they enter our community. The streets are there for our children since we have no sidewalks.
Just a thought.

This has been a problem for several years and not just at the entrance way. We have requested speed bumps in the past and we are unable to do so per KCMO Ordiances. However, we have in the past requested the KCPD to setup a speed trap from time to time. However, with this the KCPD stats state that 90% of the people that they catch are residents of the neighborhood that requests the speed trap. So we are more than willing to request this service from KCPD from time to time but residents beware that you will be stopped if you are going more than 25 miles per hours in our neighborhood.
