Crestwood Neighborhood

Restaurant Review - Tom and Jerry's

Sep 18, 2005

I?’ve been inspired by the Oklahoma City Gazette?’s recent series of reviews of ?“23rd Street Restaurants?” to start a series of ?“Crestwood Area Restaurants?”. It?’s nice to have good food close to home, and by ?“close to home?” I mean within 03 miles of the Crestwood Neighborhood boundaries. I?’m not an established food critic, but I do love to eat. So these reviews may be a little less erudite than what you might find elsewhere, but I hope you find them useful:

I have eaten the perfect meal and I found it at Tom and Jerry?’s Steak and Fish Grill at NW 23rd (between Blackwelder and Classen). This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but the food is well worth it. The menu at Tom and Jerry?’s is dynamic, changing with the availability of fresh ingredients during the different seasons, but some courses like the mahi-mahi are fairly consistent. My experience in the times that I have eaten there is that it doesn?’t matter what you order. Your food, the presentation, the service and the entire dining experience will be one of the best you have had anywhere.
