Neighborhood Meeting Minutes
May 10, 2005

Present:

Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

Approval of the Minutes
No Approval of Previous Minutes was done

Strategic Plan
Crestwood is one of two neighborhoods chosen by the city for a strategic plan. Georgia Rasko of the Neighborhood Alliance will discuss this at our September meeting.

Grants
Crestwood has three pending grants:
Urban Forestry: The city of OKC has grant for trees (on both public and private property) 2 ½” in diameter wroth $200 - $250. Private property owner must sign contract and place tree in the front yard. Applications are due by 06/30/05. City of OKC has Urban Forester who can assist with plans for benches, gazebos and planters.
State Preservation Office – has $900 grant for assisting with applications to the National Registry of Historic Places. There are no specific time frames.
Identification Signs – CDGB has grants up to $10,000. Grant application due by 09/13/05

Savings:- $5,511.77
Checking - $2397.13

Sprinklers
Sprinkler system on 19th Street Median is working

Logos
Jeff ________ will submit a Crestwood Logo. He has also done Automobile Alley, Bricktown and Heritage Hills.
Carolyn is attending meeting at OCU tomorrow afternoon with Do Gyun Kim who designed the Automobile Alley logo – will ask him to submit logo as well.

Neighborhood Night Out
National Neighborhood Night out is August 2nd. Crestwood will have annual picnic/ice cream social on the 19th street blvd.
