Tuesday morning right around 8am two houses on Hidden Oaks reported someone rattling the doorknob of their front door, as if someone was testing to come in uninvited. Before we could finish getting dressed & out the door, they were out of sight. Later that day a neighbor at the end of the circle (whose house backs up to the retirement apartment complex's parking lot) dcovered an aluminum can had been removed from his recycling bin (located on the side of his house) and had a hole in it, as if some one had used it to smoke with.
These incidents come on the heels of a big increase in criminal activity in our grid during the month of July. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. Please keep your eyes open, and try to show as much presence as possible to help deter activity. We could use some more volunteers for Mobile Patrol.
