Or plant thorny Knockout Rose Bushes up against the fence area:)  That's what we plan to do as they don't cost too much.  I have not see kids come thru my yard this year but we plan to finish fencing in the rest of it this fall.  Hopefully that will keep them out.  Good luck on keeping them out!
