whats worse?

Posted in: Crime
I have a question for everyone, what is worse?people who put yard sale signs in front of there house that live in the neighborhood or speeders who race down the street.who don't live in the neighborhood. It just seems that the highgate springs neighbor association has got there priorities a lot mix up.They are so worried about a stupid sign and don't care about if someone might get hit by a speeder that is going way to fast on a residential street.I have lived in this neighborhood for many years.I do a lot of walking with my grandkids.Iam constantly seeing people speeding and running stop signs.it is especially bad on Furman Blvd.and at kelly.I almost got hit by a car when I was crossing at the 4way stop the other day.And I had my 3year grandson with me.The scary thing was that driver didn't even realize she had ran the stop sign.So you tell what's important ahuman life or a sign?

Human life.  We have the same problem in Huntwyck.  They think this is the Indy 500 and we have made known complaints to the Homeowners Association as well as to the authorities.  It's a matter of time before something very tragic happens.  It seems to me that it would be better to be proactive then wait for something bad to happen before someone makes the first move...such as speed bumps!

I feel you seenoevil.  People are important.  All people are important.  The little thing like a sign in the yard pose no danger and therefore a sign is nowhere on the radar of issues to tackle for most people.  Any speeder is potentially dangerous in a community.  The challenge here is to get people who are out to bring down signs to help you in your efforts to stop the speeders.  Many times people do get too focused on the thing of little or no importance.  Just maybe you will be able to get the help of the person who is against signs to be as vocal against speeders.  Just maybe the two of you will be able to stop the speeder sooner that later.  Human life is important.  Take care of yourself and your grandson.   Spotcheck
