How did you start your Neighborhood Watch?  Do you have to register with the city or a national organization?  Do you need a certian number of neighbors to start a watch?

We have a graffiti problem in my neighborhood and I would like to start a neighborhood watch.

Contact your police department if you live in the city, sheriff's office in the county to start a neighborhood watch.  They will tell you the requirements and give you the guidelines and requirements.  There may already be a neighborhood watch group in your neighborhood in which case they can direct you to them so you can become an active member.
