Yes,I know your block has been covered because I have been in touch several times each day with the Block Captains thorugh the Neighborhood Notification email and phone system that I organized as the Neighborhood Watch Captain.  In fact, I sent you an email asking you if you would serve as Alternate for your Block Captain.  Am I to assume that you accepted since you just stated that it is a matter of people putting themselves out there and being invlved?  I do appreciate your involvement.

Partly true.  Not everyone has been contacted in every block.  Your Block Captain has done a very good job.  And by the way, we are not using the names of  Block Captains on this site or any other manner of publication for their own security.

I wish I knew who my captain is.  He or she is falling down on the job.
