Those with monitored residential alarms have already demonstrated a critical interest in safety and security. The presence of Tri-Alliance patrols complements your alarm services.

Here is how.  When your alarm is triggered, the alarm monitoring service will verify that it is not a false alarm before contacting the Dallas Police. Once verified, a 9-1-1 call taker will enter the request for police assistance into the dispatching system.  A residential alarm on an unoccupied dwelling is a priority 3 call. Priority 3 calls are assigned after all priority 1 and 2 calls are assigned to nearby police units in a given sector.

It is possible that 10 to 15 minutes could elapse before a patrol unit arrives at the site of the residential alarm, EXCEPT when the Tri-Alliance Patrol is in our neighborhoods.  In that case, the dispatcher is aware that the Tri-Alliance officer is in our neighborhoods and assigns the call to that officer.  The response time by the Tri-Alliance officer to your residential alarm in this situation can be 1 or 2  minutes or less.
