We would like to know what your concerns for the neighborhood and surrounding area are.
I know my top concern is foremost safety, then infrasturcture as our streets are slowly deteriorating.
Next would be the status of the neighborhood pool and grove. Did you know we have a haven of wildlife and somewhat of an ecological gem in our midst. There are of course deer sightings, but we have seen coyote, owls, hawks, piliated woodpeckers, and much more in the grove and neighborhood. The pool needs your help to pay for these parcels which sit in the midst of our neighborhood and if aquired by an outside developer could wreck havoc on our quiet area.
Also of concern would have to be the development that is happening around us.
The amount of vacant homes, (there are three that are boarded up on the south side of 79th at Charlecot). Inside the neighborhood we have several abandoned homes also. What are some of your ides for these properties.
What about a great part area for the kids to play.
