Cudjoe Gardens Property Owners Assn., Inc.

MINUTES FOR THE BOARD MEETING, JUNE 6, 2001

Aug 27, 2001

The meeting was called to order by Larry Francisco at 7:00 PM in his home. Present were Larry Francisco, Christina Skittle, John Muth, John Ulrich, Al Gaston, Stephen Vukelic. There were no guests in attendance. The minutes from the May 2nd meeting were approved after some changes were made. The treasurer's report was also approved. Total membership is at 158 members and 33 in lot maintenance.

New Bills: No new bills to report.

Communications. We have received some positive comments with reference to the possibility of tennis courts located near the Sheriff s station. We will continue to monitor the feed back. Your feedback is welcome.

Landscape and Beautification Committee: More trees have been planted, and our billboard has been moved to our property with added landscaping surrounding it soon to be coming. 2 fire hydrants have also been added on Drost Drive.

Hospitality Committee. Cissie Tauber reports welcoming new owners to the subdivision. The complete report is in our June newsletter.

Newsletter.- The June newsletter has been mailed. August newsletter may be a little late due to all the events that have taken place this summer. It should be full of pictures of fun times enjoyed by all. It has been noted that the owner of the lot where we have had our past picnics no longer wants us to do so on his lot. We need a new location. Perhaps the lot across from the Sheriffs station. The directory is coming out with all names and addresses along with a list of events, officers and directors also included are government representatives and important numbers. Two new items in the newsletter is the calendar and letters to the editor section along with out of town owners' addresses.

Other Business. Susan from Eden Pines Subdivision in Big Pine called Larry to comment on how impressed she was with our Subdivision. And was interested in knowing how we enforce our restrictions. Larry has agreed to speak at their July meeting.

An additional document was mailed with reference to our enforcement of deed restriction setbacks. Attorney Muldoon has listed 19 more properties that are supposedly violating deed restriction setbacks. A survey or site plan will undoubtedly disprove these allegations. Drafting a letter to inform these homes along with the previously accused properties will be forthcoming.

Larry Francisco has delegated Rick Friend as the "Committee for plan approval. Prior to Rick's retirement he was a Subdivision Developer and Builder.

Discussion of a "Happy Hour" was discussed for the Cudjoe Gardens Home Owner's Association.

The meeting was adjourned...

Respectfully submitted,
Karin R. Surface
