It has been brought to the attention of the Code Compliance Committee that many residents are placing brush and other items such as appliances, furniture, trash, etc., in their front yard and curbs.
Please take note that the only time these types of items should be placed out is when you are notified by the City that they have scheduled a time for these types of items to be picked up by waste management. You will be notified by mail by the City when these trucks will be in our area.
You place yourselfs at risk when you place these types of items out for pick up without formal notification from the City to do so. If the City must pick up your brush or trash at a time when this is not schedule, they will fine you.
Seniors 2000-Health & Activities Center
Most seniors, or disabled adults if given the choice, would continue to live in their own home as long as possible. Our homes are convenient, familiar, comfortable and close to friends and neighbors. However, it is inevitable that many of us will need some type of extended are at some time in our lives.
If you are unable to stay alone during the day, Seniors 2000 can provide transportation to and from the center, quality nursing care, hot meals, snacks, exerices, personal care, and social activities.
Seniors 2000 serves clients meals prepared hours earlier and delivered in boxes. They have contracted with Osirus Food Service to provide the noon meal service. Menus are selected by a Registered Dietitian and delivered hot and served family style.
Seniors 2000 promotes the individual's maximum level of independence, rehabilitates the individual to the highest possible level of functioning, fosters socialization and peer interaction, and serves as an integral part of the community service network and long term care continuum.
The Activities Director evaluates each client and designs an activities program specifically for each client. The program encourages the participant to be socially involved in the center's community.
The nursing staff formulates an individual care plan for each client and interact with physicians and report all changes in the clients medical condition.
The Admission Policy for Seniors 2000 includes a formal application, initial assessment, pre-admission interview, and a review of the client medical history with current medication an dietary requirements.
