Berkeley, California (Tuesday, July 08, 2008) - City of Berkeley Police Department (BPD) Sex Crimes Detectives are cautioning the community about a recent incident involving a man posing as a newspaper subscription salesperson. On June 28, 2008, two men were allowed into the home of a female adult on the 1900 block of Berkeley Way under the pretense of selling newspaper subscriptions for a local periodical. After a brief discussion one of the two men left the apartment. The remaining individual exposed the victim to his genitals before leaving. Detectives are sharing the details of this crime to keep the public informed and to better protect themselves.

White Male, 20s, 5-08 to 5-10, heavy build, with dark hair,
In the company of another white Male, 20s, 5-10, 170lbs with short black hair
