This past summer, hundreds of headstones at Sunnyside Cemetery on Willow Street were maliciously vandalized. A silver cloud following this shameful act, reveals how some Long Beach residents care about more than themselves.
One of these selfless volunteers is Tim Patton, who upon reading about the incident in our local paper, visited the site (and discovered that his grandmother?’s gravestone had been undamaged). Still, he volunteered to help other victims.
Tim Patton is a member of Councilmember Kell?’s staff. Tim and other caring staff members explain why Councilmember Kell?’s new leadership in the 5th district is gaining a hard earned reputation for listening to concerns, answering questions, and working respectfully to address our concerns.
