Have you ever considered the impact of Graffiti on our neighborhood?
Graffiti can intimidate residents, scare away business customers and residential buyers thus lowering property values, and attracting crime in general but more specifically inviting street gangs and other vandals into our neighborhood. Graffiti sends the message that members of this community are not concerned about the appearance of their neighborhood.

What about the impact of Graffiti on our local youth?
The graffiti subculture promotes anti-social values, including lawlessness, and a lack of respect for public and private property.

Many law enforcement and anti-graffiti programs affirm that rapid removal of graffiti has been proven to reduce the reoccurrence. This approach directly addresses the motives of many offenders by reducing the notoriety associated with graffiti's visibility. Generally, graffiti should be removed within 24 hours with specific attention to removal?  around schools and high traffic areas within the first few hours.? 

Fighting graffiti and taggers isn't effortless. The fight to keep a wall "graffiti free" can take a lot of time and patience. I encourage you to ?“adopt?” your alley and block walls around your neighborhood and you don?’t even have to paint them yourself if you don't want to or are unable to! All you need to do is pick up the phone and report the graffiti to Los Padrinos Youth Services!
