Wayne Forde a long time resident, writer, educator and former Tempe City councilman died recently at the age of 80. He was a self-appointed guardian of our neighborhood and donated much of his time to Tempe Police Department?’s Volunteers in Policing Program. Those of us who knew him will miss his sincerity, his sense of humor and his civic spirit.
