Candidates Visit Neighborhood Meeting

Some of the Candidates for Mayor and City Council attended our November 18 fall potluck meeting. As the March 14, 2000 election approaches, we felt it was a good time to speak up for older neighborhoods. Our thanks to Gretchen Wolfe, Fred Wood, Peter Graves, Fritz Tuffli, Rich Bank, Mark Mitchell, Barbara J. Carter, Tom Head, Charles Goodson, and Scott Burge for their brief remarks and commitment to the preservation and maintenance of Tempe?’s older neighborhoods. We have invited the remaining candidates to our next association meeting on Tuesday, Feb 1, 2000.
