Tempe Neighborhoods Tomorrow Taskforce

(Jim Newell) This taskforce recently presented their long-awaited recommendations for stabilizing, preserving and enhancing Tempe neighborhoods. Our neighbors Ernie Nickels and Nancy Lesko volunteered to serve on that 27 person committee for 18 months. Their committee identified the challenges and opportunities facing all Tempe neighborhoods; their hard work will become part of Tempe?’s Strategic Plan. They continue to serve, setting up guidelines for a proposed permanent commission. Thank you Ernie and Nancy for your leadership and a job well done!
