(Jim Newell) The Comprehensive Multi-modal Transportation Plan is a three year $750,000 study that will focus on ways to improve conditions for motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians in four specific study areas; Broadway Road, University Drive, Downtown/Rio Salado and Apache Boulevard/13th St.. The City expects to begin meetings about Broadway Road this fall. We have invited Robert Yabes and Mary O?’Connor from City of Tempe to present the details of the Transportation Plan at our September 19 meeting.
