Railroad Hazard

(Jim Newell)Tempe Police reminds us that the railroad tracks are private property and trespassers are subject to arrest and fines. Despite the dangers and risk of arrest, hundreds of bicyclists and pedestrians (including some of our neighbors) cross the tracks on their way to ASU every day. Our neighborhood will recommend the Tempe Transportation Plan consider a safe, north/south pedestrian/bicycle route over, under or around the railroad?’s legal barrier.
