(Jim Newell) Our thanks to Nancy Lesko who circulated a petition last year to change 40 years of inconvenient weekend flood irrigation in Daley Park neighborhood. Weekend water and mud in the backyards has always made lawn mowing, hanging laundry and outside get-togethers almost impossible. Thanks to Nancy and the 30 neighbors who signed the petition we finally have weekday irrigation (well, not always the same weekday). Together we can and are making a difference.
