Talked with the city attorney - the city filed an extension with the court to keep the security guards in place. The apartments in return filed an appeal which voids the extension filed. The court must hear the appeal before anything can be done about the extension.

I drove through the apartments the other night and saw one security guard. I have to presume that there are guards still in place, how many I have no idea.

When I receive more information I will pass it on to you.

Last week, Channel 11 news at 6:00 pm did a story on our area. They gave all the crime stats for our area. I believe they said the overall crime rate was down 1%. In total 72 arrests for various crimes have been made in our area.
