Baseball traffic on Chimney Hill

Posted in: Country Forest-Jackson Meadows
What else can we do to keep cars from parking on Chimney Hill and Wharton during these games at the Akin school? I almost got in an accident, not being able to see around these cars. Should we make a nasty note and put it on these folks cars that continue to park on the streets?? I know Cathy has done an outstanding job trying to control this! What else can we do?
Drive more carefully

I understand your frustration at trying to drive through all of the additional cars parked along the street.

However, I don't believe the answer is to leave ''nasty'' notes on people's car's. Parking on city streets is perfectly legal; and a reasonable thing to do.

When there are a lot of cars parked along the streets - slow down, drive more carefully, and try to be more observant yourself.

Learn to go with the flow...

Baseball traffic

I like the feel of the neighborhood when the baseball games are going on. Promotes a family atmosphere.
I do agree though that the traffic around that area does get congested with the parking. Yes they are city streets but there is a sign that clearly states No Parking-towing will be enforced.
Perhaps a wrecking service could be called or the Police hand out citations. The bottom line is that you can drive as slow as you want and be careful but there are times that there are so many cars parked in that area you have to inch out on Chimney Hill hoping for the best.
