Really cold air now, 12 degrees today and not warming up until Wednesday !!! Run your water faucets with a little drip action going to keep the water moving in the pipes and might help to prevent a water pipe burst !!!
I am surprised that the news folks are not talking this up ............... I lived in the Dallas area back in the early '80s and they had similar very cold air temperatures, the homeowners were having all kinds of issues with bursted water pipes and burst water mains all over town.
I am up super early but cracked my water faucets through out the house, it will not use that much water to keep your home pipes safe ............... Stay Warm !!! Happy New Year !!!
