FYI:

Alot of people are unaware that our neighborhood has a homeowner's association & even this website. I bought a house here in 2007 and knew nothing about them until I talked to a couple friends in the neighborhood in 2009.So this may need to be brought to peoples attention.

Many people might pay my dues when deed restrictions(things) are enforced such as no above ground pools, no basketball hoops, high grass areas(where people live & vacant homes), commerical vehicles, cars parked in the street that are about a foot from my mailbox and making it difficult for mailman to deliver my mail(if decides to fight around vehicle),(park by your mailbox, not your neighbors) nothing was ever done about the house that had been caught on fire until someone bought it and fixed it up, blocked sidewalks(if you want to walk around neighborhood with children, you have to walk with them in the street to go around cars), you take a chance everytime because people speed up & down these roads like speed racer. There is alot of enforcing of the restrictions that need to happen in this neighborhood.

A huge concern of mine is how fast people drive up down all the streets in our neighborhood. The speed limit is 25mph.

THERE ARE LITTLE KIDS OUTSIDE PLAYING EVERYDAY!!!!!! What if ?????they ran in the road for something and you can't stop fast enough and hit them and all could have been prevented if you were going the speed limit.

Hooooooray for someone else speaking up about "rules" of the neighborhood!!!! THANK YOU! We have neighbors that goes against EVERY "rule"!!!!! Pools,   building, too large sheds, commercial vehicles, barking dogs 1/2 nite, blocking others mailboxes,(not their own), because they have "car lots" at their homes. And we  have always paid dues......but have done so last time, till matters are handled! And, most important, blocked sidewalks!!!! You would think, having children, they'd know the danger of this...??????And allowing kids to leave toys in other's drivways. Simple lil things that could easily be dissolved with lil caring bout others and DISCIPLINE. We respect our neighbors...respect us! Again, thank you.

+1 Neigh and Mgtrrz81 maybe when the "Assoc." starts doing a better job at being the "Assoc." and not the advertising agency for our Community Yard Sale , I would be more inclined to pay this fee moreover I haven't been living in this great community for the past three years why would I make up delinquent fees for the previous owners!! Especially when I haven't seen anything from this so called Assoc. in the year and a half I have been here and while I am typing this I look out the window around a basketball pole just to see a yard that hasn't been mowed for the same amount of time. Maybe we should disolve the Homeowners Association and start over from scratch. Just my 2 cents..... Well guess I am about 29.98 short!!

PICISA,

I don't understand the "problem" you have with GROVE announcing the "COMMUNITY SALES. That's part of the ASSOC.'S "duty". BUT, I do agree on the issue of basketball courts along our streets. And blocked sidewalks also. I look out our window and 24/7 view  trash piled up, mud & gravel, mulch, on sidewalks. Cars, trucks, blocking walks. And, I too, thought the Assoc.would have the authority to contact the city and get these issues resolved. They (City) don't listen to an indivisual. Been there. I too, been here few years, paid dues, haven't seen progress, instead, neighborhood "going down". Some homes have 6-7 occupants, which equal 5-6 vehicles, which equal "car lots", blocked mailboxes. Watched mail person void leaving 2 residents their mail last week, blocked boxes. Assoc. needs to address these issues.
