Denver Digs Trees

Posted in: Washington Park East
Bravo once again to the inspired crew of Denver Digs Trees. There is very little in this world that shows greater hope for the future than planting a tree. The DDT efforts of April 17, 1999 once again perpetuate the community concepts we value here in WPE and throughout urban Denver.

Does anyone know how many trees have been planted through the years as a result of the DDT effort? How many years has it been going on? Sure, the trees are ten feet tall when they are planted, but I'll bet trees from earlier years are providing some shade to our neighbors.

Our (quite) established treelined streets and treefilled lots are among the biggest benefits of living in our urban area.

Bravo. Keep up the good work!
