Warranty Issues

Posted in: Highland Pointe
At the last HOA meeting, many members complained about Village warranty issues not being resolved. It was suggested that this site be used for such discussions as a place to record our shared problems and efforts. My one year warranty work was to have begun on June 29th. Nobody showed up, and since then I have repeatedly called both Teresa Lombardo and John Houk, with no response from either. Finally, a neighbor suggested that I call Bob Bowell (795-1976). He did return my call, though he is now out of the office until Aug. 28th. I would suggest anyone with similar problems to contact Bob. The rumor before all construction was finished was that once they did move out of Highland Pointe, getting warranty work completed would be difficult; this is proving itself true. If anyone else has names of other people that I could contact on these issues, I would appreciate the feedback.
Thanks

Warranty Dept. Restructured

Like every other builder in the Denver Metro area, Village Homes has had a challenge in completing warranty work on a timely basis. There has been an incredible labor shortage in the city and the turnover in the companies that porvide goods and services to us (so that we may provide them to you) has been mind boggling. However, there is good news!

First, the market has slowed down and tightened up a little to the degree that there are now more ''bodies'' available to help us catch up.

Secondly, we relocated from another state, a gentleman to run our warranty department. His name is Philip Eichenshenk and he comes to Village Homes with a record of great success in the areas of Warranty Dept. structure, processes and procedures, and execution.
Philip stared with us in early fall of 2000, and is resolute in his desire to bring the Warranty Dept. back to its fromer reputation as one of the best in the city.

The simple fact that there hasn't been any recent postings to this issue, leads us to believe that the Highpoint howeowners with Warranty needs have been contacted and are in the resolution process.

Should anyone need further help, please contact Philip at 303-703-8830 - I'm sure that he will do his best to resolve your problem. (Bob Bowell is not the man to contact!)
