From what I hear, if anyone had a cow at the hearing, it wasn't anybody from Broomfield. They got just about everything they wanted. Chris and Linda are being disingenuous about the results of the hearing.
The truth? The people of Colorado will see through the petty, self-serving interests of CVELG. The Westminster city council already has. The Denver Post already has. The Rocky Mountain News already has. The Boulder Daily Camera already has.

As far as your not understanding concepts etc. better coming into this, I would not be concerned about it at all. Anybody can tell from your posts that you have a keen intellect and an appetitite for information and learning. We will probably always disagree regarding the goals of CVELG, but I have developed a great deal of respect for you.

Your group did not get your inflated figures on the wording like you wanted. And we hear the Title Board made a point to tell you your figures are inflated. Made a point to put that statement on record.

You state repeal of Broomfield County will cost your citizens? Explain how. COPS are not supposed to cost them anything. You touted in your campaign last year that forming the county will not cost the citizens a thing. But now all these millions are coming out of the woodwork.

One final question: How many Broomfield citizens showed up to defend the formation of the county? Your City Manager showed, and "knots in his shorts Ozacki" showed, and City Attorneys followed. Where are your citizens in defending this County they want so much?

We hear one Broomfield citizen spoke: in favor of Ballot Initiative #199, and against your manufactured numbers.

I resent that you say - Linda and I are misleading these people with the information that we have posted about the hearing. I was there, Linda was there.....were you?????
Do you have the ballot information in front of you?? Do you REALLY know what
Broomfield WAS asking for and what they REALLY got??

I am hoping by your statements - that (you) your wonderful CC will accept this title, and not waste any more of the tax payers money by trying to take it to the Supreme court. Personally, my bucket is full - I have a very difficult time sitting in the same room with such arrogaunt, self-serving, manipulating
"citizens". You really need to get off of your high-horse MR!/MS!.
