Yes, you are correct in your statement about the notification of publc meetings and the rush to state. We had neither public meetings and were aware of the State Assembly meetings after they started.

You are a more generous person than I; you are offering to share all the information; I am exhausted by continuously defending the existance of CVLEG. At this point; I feel anyone like John and Margaret are trying to be puritanical critics based on rumor or self-assumption; my view is they need to be more resourceful on their own before they become judgemental on this board.

Anyone who suggests that I was the instigator of this issue and got a bunch of little dwarfs to do my work is living in the world of comics. Even while I was making suggestions; the answer came back that you had already visited the information I suggested to discover if it played a role.

I cannot tolerate anyone who portrays this group as a bunch of followers. The bottom line is; when you win in Nov. 2000, you will be viewed as a role model in bringing the represenation of the people back to government through the democratic process in action. What a tribute to CVLEG.

Hi Br Anon:

It seems like we spend so much time defending our work to the newcomers that you and I hardly get any exchange any more. And I miss that a lot.

I certainly agree that the opposition should take the initiative to learn the issues and facts before being so critical of our intent. But on the other hand, I know just how hard it is to even FIND all this info.

I may be naive - but I have this idea that if everyone reads through every thing that I have (and you have), they couldn't help but agree on some or most issues. Or at least we could have a discussion with some commonly agreed upon information.

So from that - I feel like I want EVERYONE to read all this stuff. And I even want to help them get the documents if that will increase the liklihood of them reading them.

The fact is, sadly, most people don't have the time, energy, or desire to do that much. So I guess it doesn't really matter that I offer to provide copies of the docs.

Br Anon, we are only days from circulating petitions. If your friends or neighbors would like to circulate or sign, please put them in contact with me. It seems that our strongest supporters are from Broomfield.

I SO AGREE with you that the common thread running through each of us is that we want citizen participation and fair representation. Every individual has unigue views on this situation, but we all believe in the process set forth by the State Constitution. It is our responsibility to understand and defend these things. If we sit back and do nothing - we deserve what we get.

Br Anon, you are right; we don't follow you like puppets. We respect your dignity and passion for these matters. You have helped us all grow and become smarter on these topics. The opposition says harsh things about your input because your input is on track - not because they are concerned about CVELG being mislead. (I guess we all know that - I just felt like saying it)

Finally you are working within your own community and I applaud that. The point I have been trying to make with the Westminster people and you is to work within your own community and leave your neighbors alone! Fight your own fights don't ask the citizens from another community to do it for you.
