You make many good points - the first I've seen on this board. However, I disagree with you about Senator Bryant and his so called Responsible Growth Act. It was a subterfuge. It was defeated in committee. It is dead and it should be. It would have given residential home builders a blank check - build as fast as they want with no local controls. You are also wrong about Broomfield, jobs, and housing. Broomfield already has enough housing for the jobs being created in Interlocken. Boulder, on the other hand, has more jobs than housing. That's the primary reason US 36 is a mess during the rush hours. By the way, as far as I know, there is no "Interlocken 2."

Ignorance is bliss so it is said. With the City and County of Broomfield, court facilities will be in Broomfield, including the 17th District. No one from Broomfield will have to drive to Brighton. Your statement is just another in a long line fabrications and uninformed muttering.

Agree with you about open space in Broomfield. With revenues from the new mall, Broomfield will have much more money to acquire open space. Let's hope they do a good job of it. So far, so good. But, we need much more open space.

Your city charter should outline the responsibilities for open meetings laws. Also, it should state what happens if there is an infraction. Is Westy homerule or statutory?
