Traviss TV sign

Traviss TV (across from our boundary) would like our support of a change to their sign along Douglas Av. The sign would be about the same size, but the 2 lower hanging brand name signs would be replaced with a time/temp sign with a variable message. When taking my son to Moore School, or others going down to Hoover or Meredith would like this.

I forgot to ask at the meeting last night (7/11), but has a sign been ordered for the flower gardens? There could be a 'traveling' sign the size of a real estate sign that could be moved weekly. $50-$75 should cover the cost of a 2-sided plastic corrugated and we are able to afford that.

The Board meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month (usually at the Prez home).

The General membership meeting is the 2nd Wednesday of January, April, July and October at the lower level meeting room of MH Mall @ 7:00 P.M.

The Activities Comm. meets the 1st Tuesday each month at the same mall meeting room.

new sign on 53rd

There is a new sign on 53rd just south of Urbandale as a reminder of the speed limit. It is brightly colored with a 'checkmark' on it. Is this something new to use on streets where speeding is a big problem?
