A Few Basic Guidelines

This site, and newsletter, are for the purposes of promoting "harmony" within the community - as well as to be informative and entertaining. To do this there are a few basic guidelines that we should all keep in mind:

1. The Website, and/or Newsletter, should not be used for the promotion of individual or group agendas.

2. The Website, and/or Newsletter, should not be used for attacking or singling out individuals or groups within the community.

3. The Website, and/or Newsletter, may be utilized for presenting issues and announcements affecting our community on the whole ?¿½ as long as it does not violate guidelines 1 and 2.

For example: Although it may be proper to say something like "We need to get the city to realize the parking problems in our community", it really isn't good to say "That person at 123 Jump St. parks his cars anywhere he feels like and something should be done about it!"

These guidelines can be discussed and altered in the future, I'm not exactly a world class diplomat when speaking but I do think these guidelines are a good starting point for the future guidelines of the site and newsletter.
