Neighborhood Cleanup

Grab your water bottle and gloves and join with fellow neighbors in clearing our streets of trash, weeds and debris. A neighborhood cleanup is scheduled for March 4, 2000 from 8:00 a.m. - noon.

We plan to go around our square mile collecting shopping carts and making notes of graffiti. We will also work to rid our streets and sidewalks of unsightly trash. The city will provide a dumpster, and a dump truck will go around to collect the piles gathered during the cleanup.

There is a lot that we can do to make our neighborhood more attractive. Even if you can?’t come to our regular meetings, you are invited to participate in this event. Not only will you be helping your community, it will give you a chance to meet and socialize with your neighbors.

Once we are done at noon, Fire Station 40 is having an open house. Meet your local fire fighters, see the station, and enjoy some refreshments.
