How to be a Good Neighbor

Feb 09, 2000

1. Keep your home and front yard looking neat and clean.

2. Park vehicles on concrete or gravel drives, not in the yard. Fix disabled vehicles or move them out of sight.

3. Monitor your children?’s activities.

4. Keep the volume of your music low enough so others won?’t hear it within their homes with the doors shut. Thumping bass can be especially annoying.

5. Report suspicious behavior to the police or your Neighborhood Association.

6. Limit your speed to 25 mph when driving through residential areas.

7. Get involved in your Neighborhood Association.

8. Smile and wave to your neighbors!
