Snow Emergency signs are available at the District 6 Planning Council Office. You can place the signs on your boulevard during a snow emergency to remind your neighbors to move their vehicles. Stop be the office to pick one up. There is a limit so it's first come first served!
District 6 has a limited number of signs that say Keep Our Streets Clean! Grass, leaves and trash pollute our lakes and rivers! The signs are provided by the Capitol Region Watershed District, and we only have a few. You can call the office to ensure the availabilty. Recycling bins are available at the District 6 Office. They are provided free of charge. Call District 6 to pick up your bins or arrange for free delivery.District 6 will only be taking deliver orders until December 12, 2005. We will begin taking orders again after January 2, 2006. You may still call the office to arrange to pick up a bin.
Neighborhood Nuisances Handbooks are availabe. The handbooks are a resourse guide to quality of life conerns and general nuisances.
District 6 also has a wide variety of other information concerning; crime, gangs, recycling, and neighborhood services. Call or stop by the office with your questions or concerns.
