Community Code Sweeps

Volunteer Code Sweeps A Huge Success

We are excited to let everyone know that our volunteer community code sweep was a huge success. This spring we conducted a volunteer sweep in the area around Wheelock Parkway. We sent out 112 violation notices. When we conducted our re-sweep of the area 95% of the violations were corrected! This means that neighbors do respond to more friendly approaches and take them seriously. More importantly this means city code staff can focus more intensely on real probolems while we assist on them on alerting resident's to violations they may not have been aware of.
