On October 1 a small maltese was attacked and killed by a neighbor's dog. This is the third little dog killed by a large dog in the neighborhood that I know of in recent years.

All were just out walking as we all have a right to do. Unfortunately the little dog's family is devistated and left with a huge void by the loss of a "family" member. The other dog owner was unapologetic, unsympathetic and goes on with life as nothing happened. Only option, litigation. 

Both sides please keep this in mind as you pass each other while walking. If you are the large dog owner ask yourself "Are you really in control of your dog?" Whether it is a dog off leash or a small child walking by could you control your dog if it snaps?
