In the state of Ohio there is a very strict dog leash law and I wish that some of the people in this village would respect that law which also protects those that may wish to not come in contact with your dog which is running without confinement in it's yard or while someone is out walking with it. You MUST make sure while walking you dog that, that dog is tethered to you hand at all times. Please remember also to clean up after your dog while on your walk OR in the ball park. WE all love our dogs. Please respect that some people are afraid of dogs and others are alergic to dogs.

 I totally agree Angie.  Most residents in this village obey the leash laws.  Most residents in this village are decent and clean up after their dogs.  Some, not so much.  You are absolutely right, all should obey the laws. The laws are there not only for our protection and health but for the dogs as well. 

There are only a couple of people that I have seen walking their dog without controll, leash, the leash was in his had but never connected to the dog.  One is a councel member which has been told about it several times. Another is a big tall man walking a very small dog, he too had no leash. After I brought it up at the September meeting and brought this up at councel, that councelman I see now walking past my house with the dog on leash.

I would hate to see any dog be hit by a car because of someones defence and ignoreance. Who always pays the price, the dog. It can't say please help keep me safe and love me by putting a leash on me when you have me out of my house.
