As many of you are aware, Germantown has been investigating a series of home invasions that date back to September 2002. Most recently the crime included a sexual assault of a Germantown resident living in the Germantown Station neighborhood, which is south of Dogwood Creek on Hackscross Rd.The Germantown Police department has issued a composite sketch of the individual that is responsible for this most horrific crime. The purpose of this letter is to inform our neighbors of this matter in order that we may take extra precautions to protect our families.This particular individual has been entering unlocked entry doors and has been known to break into garage windows and then gain access to the home through unlocked doors inside the garage. The Germantown Police ask that we leave all lights on at night, keep all doors locked, do not open doors to stangers ever, and if you hear any stange noises to call 754-7222 or 911.
