Spring, Spring, Spring?….

Winter is officially over for this year.
But don?’t put away those snow shovels just yet! You never know the whim of our
Colorado weather?….
What an exciting year Doubleheader Mountain Association (DMA) is going to have with a new President, Pamela Finn and some new board members, too!
If you are interested in taking part in any of the activities for this year, please don?’t hesitate to call anyone on the board.
Outgoing President Jim Schoening gives a ?“hearty welcome?” to the new DMA board.
CALENDAR
Here are a few important dates to be put on your 2001 Calendar!
May 20th Trash Walk #1
July 11th Board Meeting.
August 1st Pre-Picnic Planning Meeting.
August 11th Summer Picnic (Starts 11:30 am Saturday in O?’Brien?’s Meadow-Please Mark your calendars! All are welcome to attend.)
September 9th Trash Walk #2.
October 5th General Meeting.
For your information here is a breakdown of what all the dates mean?…
MAY 20th marks the annual Trash walk from 1pm till 3pm with refreshments following at the Dunton?’s 22095 Cook Lane.
If you?’d like to participate call Pam Finn at 303-697-6162.
If you can?’t participate on the day but would still like to help out by doing your own property street frontage or a portion of your street that would be GREAT! (if everyone would help with this throughout the year we might not need a trash walk?…..)
JULY 11th will be the next Board meeting. All residents are welcome to attend.
Time and venue will be announced on the chalkboard near the bottom of the mountain at a later date.
AUGUST 1st There will be a ?“Pre-summer picnic?” planning meeting. If you have any ideas or would like to participate please give Pam or a board member a call: we need all the help we can get for this fun occasion!
We need a clown, and someone to organize children?’s games/races/events.
More information about the picnic will appear in the next newsletter.
AUGUST 11th the ?“annual?” summer picnic takes place. This is a great time to socialize with other residents on the mountain!
SEPTEMBER 9th For the first time we are holding a second Trash Walk to take care of all the summer trash that accumulates.
OCTOBER 5th Annual General Meeting. All residents encouraged to attend.
