Littering

Posted in: Loch Raven
As we all know - the city does not maintain the overall upkeep of our neighborhood. It is our responsibility as property owners to remove any debris and trash blown or dumped on our property - this includes the sidewalk, street and alleyway.

However, it would be greatly annoyed to see some teens come out their houses and drop cups, bottles and other trash right in front of their homes or their neighbors. I would appreciated if parents would educate their children of the importance?’s of maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe neighborhood

I blame the parents of these kids. Hate to see what their homes look like. Bunch of slobs litter the neighborhoods. I've seen many great neighborhoods decline because of trash and the lazy slobs who don't know the purpose of a trash can!!

I totally agree!

Have you thought about organizing a neighborhood clean up day?  Or ask your neighbor if they want to help clean up one side of the street. Or make a neighborhood challenge. Your side of the street challenge the other side of the street in keeping the street clean.
