Board Meeting # 8
March 18, 2004
In attendance: James Pontello, Dave Tagliaferri, Sandy Taylor, Barbra McNiel,
The following updates were provided by James Pontello:
1. Cory Compton has resigned as a board member.
2. Barbara McNiel will take over the Welcome Committee
3. Next newsletter will be published mid May 2004.
The following changes were approved:
1. Sandra Tagliaferri was voted as Cory’s replacement.
2. Ron Law was voted off the board as he has missed 3 consecutive meetings
3. Barbara McNiel will serve as Vice President for the remainder of this year
Dave Tagliaferri provided the following accounting updates:
1. Lisa Smith of Signature mailed 2002 & 2003 records & they were received by Dave Tagliaferri. Preliminary review revealed that there is possibly $3 to $4,000 in overpayments including but not limited to $627.94 for irrigation bills that are not ours’. A possible overpayment in amount of $1,224.00 to Auto owners and multiple payments to Island Landscaping. On 5-8-02 $1,925.00 was paid to Island Landscaping and on 5-24-02 $100.00 was paid. On 5-30-02 $1,925 was paid again. Total amount in question to date = $3,776.00. In addition, (2) late fees were paid to JEA.

The next public board meeting is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 6th 2004.

February 26, 2004
In attendance: James Pontello, Dave Tagliaferri, Sandy Taylor, Leigh Koon, Kara Donley, Barbra McNiel, Corey Compton
The following updates were provided by James Pontello:
1. Regarding street lights – residents should let the board know if there are any problems with the street lights so that we can advise JEA. If possible, please furnish the light #.
2. Feral cat problem – advised residents that we can set traps if requested. Residents should advise the board if there is a problem but should feel free to contact pet control directly.
3. Future newsletters will be posted to our website mid quarter. Residents should e-mail articles/suggestions
4. Landscape Committee – waiting for warmer weather to address weeds etc.
5. Neighbor Watch Committee – still open
6. Welcome Committee – packet is well under way to be funded by Barbra McNeil and Corey Compton. Available to new residents only
7. Board will seek counsel to decipher the exact meaning of our covenant so that we can make certain we are following correctly.
The following financial update was provided by Dave Tagliaferri:
Board still waiting for financial records from Signature Realty.
Vast majority of our current balance is due to an insurance refund for duplicate
coverage
It appears that of the 214 resident homes, 14 have NOT paid their annual assessment

Question from resident regarding our balance from last year….
Board responded that the prior board members did not request records from Signature to justify ending balances.

It is everyone’s’ responsibility to pick-up the garbage in our community

There are problems regarding fast moving vehicles in the neighborhood and children playing in the street
