We live near Damien's Bar and The Bug Jar Bar in the 200 area of Monroe Avenue. My daughter recently got involved with a drug dealer in our neighborhood who moved in recently. His name is Billy Green. He is 21 years old, and he lives right above The Park Avenue Trading Post at 201 Monroe Avenue. He sells drugs to minors and he has more foot traffic than the Bus station. We need to stop him. We MUST stop him. Our community has contacted the Rochester Police Department, who will help to an extent but have left it up to us to take further legal action. I was informed a uniformed officer will be by to talk to Billy, but I don't know if or when that will actually happen. I DO NOT want my daughter or any of the other children in my neighborhood exposed to the dangers in this drug house. And he picked the wrong family to mess with. We already deal with drunks on the weekends due to our location. I can only do so much to protect my girls and as soon as this Billy Green came into the neighborhood, her behavior changed. Please help us!! What do you suggest?

Please read this article that a crime prevention officer wrote here in Tampa that I think would be helpful to you: Protecting Your Neighborhood From Drug Dealers
On a personal level, I would recommend:
1. That you keep confidential information about this suspected criminal and only communicate with your police contacts. This is for your protection. Also, a neighborhood watch is a great crime preventor. You just may want to volunteer to be a coordinator to improve your community. Here is another article that you may find helpful: Top 8 Benefits of Neighborhood Watch
2. Involve yourself and family in a Bible centered, Christ honoring church. This is your best defense in preventing your children from being involved with the wrong crowd.
Best of everything to you and your family.
