I pulled out the letter from the property management company today and decided to see how to sign up for the quarterly auto-pay for the HOA dues. I started to enter the link that the letter instructs you to 'click' on for ACH, credit card or echeck options. Click on the link? Hah, hah. Was this meant as a joke? Where was this copied and pasted from I wonder. What office employee wrote this letter?

I stopped midway typing into the browser address window realizing that this probably would not work even if I did happen to get all the exact alphanumeric characters typed in correctly. I had to control my anger that I felt welling up inside me. I hope the management company doesn't wonder why more people don't sign up this year for auto-pay. West Coast Management and Reatly, Inc., just racked up 115 x .46 or $52.90 in postage costs for us letter. Couldn't someone have thought to slip this in with the previous letter that had the payment coupons? I guess we get what we pay for, right?

HTTPS://ONLINEPAY.AAFIN.COM will get you to the bill pay site you need to be at folks. Create yourself an account with all the pertinent info with the usual three security questions that everybody is asking us for these days along with your bank routing number and account number. Be sure to have your coupon book in front of you because you will need the numbers from the bottom of a coupon to input. The website gives you a good picture showing what numbers are what. Don't bother to enter all those zeros for your account number. Just enter the last two and you will be set.  Click to submit and then you will get a confirmation email with a link to click on that verifies you are who you say you are. Then log in and set up the quarterly payment with a starting date.

What's next for the new year? We'll have to wait and see!

Oh, here's the link that was in the letter in case you want to compare and click to see where it takes you. I'm not even going to try as I believe it will only tell you that it is an expired webpage, from where someone probably at West Coast had logged in to get this link. Just dumb. There should be classes for people before they are allowed to use the internet. Just my humble opinion. Here's that crazy link:

So, where's the information for all of this on our website? The board and the property management company made sure that we don't see any information other than 'contact info' for the property management company. Our web site was stripped down to nothing due to one board member who had a beef with a former board member who was maintaining the website. This one person reins over all of Bella Vista by intimidation. He is good at it and he knows it. The 'King' states to do as I say not as I do and that is very evident even today as I write this. One day this king will be gone from the land but who will take up his rein. That's the question. These little people who like to wear the tin foil hats are all around and are sure to slip in when a position becomes available. Let's see who is next to follow this fearless leader I say in jest. Hah. Oh, yes, it's that time to make the quarterly payment again, oh darn.
