Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night...

Posted in: Madison Park

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is often associated with the unofficial motto, “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” This phrase can be traced back to the ancient Greek historian Herodotus.

Well some things are for certain not the same as yesteryear.  Guess this was before the post office was infiltrated with crooks and snow flakes!

No mail today apparently due to snow.    My neighbor said she tried to chat with post office after getting a message on informed delivery package track no delivery today due to weather.   The chat said office closed!

Maybe Trump can fix this post office while he is Making America Great Again!

Yard waste is not happening the rest of the week per the city!

Put you cans out using the one day delay and they might or might not get to it on that day.   If not leave until they empty the cart.

The reason is with MLK we are already behind 1 day.  Not working today pushes things back 2 days, however they will attempt to make up some of the misses due to ice soone than 2 full days.

So Madison Park North of Tyvola can go out today for possible pickup Thursday or Friday and Madison Park / Montclaire South of Tyvola place out Thursday for possible pickup Friday or Saturday.
