New Dog Park Now Open in Shelby Park

Finally Davidson County has its own dog park, and it is near East Hill in Shelby Park. The dog park is directly behind the Shelby Park Recreation Center in a newly fenced-off area and open from dawn to 8 pm.

Remember to clean up after your dog and keep them on a lead to and from the park ?– it?’s the law.

Before heading to the dog park, make sure that your pup is wearing current ID and rabies tags. There are a few rules for everyone?’s safety, but now there?’s a place where you and your dog can socialize off lead.
