Check out the web site for the Hillsborough County Cooperative Extension Office to obtain dates & locations for workshops that can help you save water AND save your lawn/plants during the newly imposed water restrictions which go into effect April 3rd.
It IS possible to retrofit your existing sprinkler system to comply with the wate restrictions! Rain Barrels are a great way to accomplish saving your plants, too! The County Extension Office holds workshops for both.
Many of the workshops are already filled up through the month of July. If enogh people are interested , we can get the Extension Office to hold workshops in our neighborhood, in addition to the ones already scheduled.
