OK -- we have a date for our next Watch meeting: May 28, 2009 @ 7pm In Larrick Hall @ Forest Hills Presbyterian Church. Sometimes the meeting gets moved at the last minute to a Sunday School classroom; if that happens there will be signs posted to direct you to the appropriate room.
We have to present a united front to keep the criminal activities to a minimum. Please bring ideas, questions, suggestions, requests to the table: summer is almost here, and that means you can bank on increased criminal activities. Meet some neighbors, make some new friends. Speak to the cops that patrol our streets and hear their observations & suggestions, ask them questions-- that's what they're there for.
Show pride in your neighborhood: keep the litter picked up, the weeds mowed down, don't let newspapers or phone books accumulate in the yard. If the criminal element sees that you don't respect your own neighborhood, they won't respect it either. The "un-kempt look" has been proven to attract crime to an area.
