If you know that your neighbor doesn't have internet access, please walk over and talk with them about what is going on in our community. Your block leader would still like to have your phone numbers & e-mail addresses in order that we may contact you in case of an emergency.
Sending individual e-mails and distributing fliers in order to update everyone is both cost and time prohibitive. Utilizing this web site to its fullest extent will save trees and shoe leather, not to mention the fact that you will know the latest, the soonest. When safety is an issue, time is of the utmost importance for updates.
This discussion page is not intended to be strictly for use for crime prevention or safety issues. We can discuss any topic, from suggestions on what plants to landscape with in a heavily shaded yard to whether anyone can recommend a good plumber, a teenager to mow their lawn or someone to help you hang your Christmass lights, to how to get the street sign re-installed after someone sideswiped it. NHW is about neighbors looking out for each other.
